Strength in Numbers Program Registration Deadline This Week

The deadline to register for MU Extension’s Strength in Numbers program is this Wednesday. Candace Rodman is Randolph County Extension’s nutrition and health education specialist.

Rodman describes the next steps.

A pilot study of the program shows a 14 percent increase in participants that regularly eat healthy foods, and a 10 percent increase in those that participated in muscle-strength exercises. Rodman says taking on the program with a group is significant.
