The MACC Greyhounds yesterday announced the additions of Shamar Dillard, Makalani Kafele, and Tully Thomsen to the roster for the upcoming season. Coach Pat Smith says he had hoped to get the 6’6″ Dillard right out of high school before he went to Eastern Michigan.

The 6’5″ Kafele played at College Prep Academy last season, where he averaged 15 points per game, 6 rebounds and 5 assists per contest. He had committed to Angelina College in Texas, but the Roadrunners have cancelled their season due to the pandemic. Smith says a number of available players were in the same boat this summer.

Thomsen is 6’3″ and from Oak Grove.

These are the final additions for the MACC Greyhounds prior to the start of practice.
