Senator Cindy O’Laughlin says education reform will be one of her priorities when the next session of the general assembly begins in January, but it won’t be the only one.

While several lawmakers have indicated that crafting the new budget will be more of a challenge because there won’t be as much federal pandemic relief funding to work with, the Shelbina Republican doesn’t necessarily agree.

O’Laughlin says she will spend a good deal of time leading up to the new session meeting with education leaders from throughout the state.
