The Moberly City Council has approved an important piece of the Route M Sidewalk project, that will bring this effort a step closer to conclusion. Public Works Director Tom Sanders says there is a reason this has turned into a lengthy process.

The council has approved the bid for the bridge, which will be placed over a gap just west of Cedar Ridge Drive.

That bid was approved during last Monday’s meeting. The Council discussed, and is expected to approve an installation bid later this month.

The Moberly City Council also discussed the grant that will allow a significant amount of work to take place at the Omar Bradley Airport in 2020 and into 2021.
