Paris Hires Cody Carney as New Head Football Coach

Ahead of their first season in eight-man football, the Paris Coyotes are turning to a coach with experience in that brand of football. The Paris School Board has approved the hiring of Cody Carney as the next head coach of the Coyotes. Carney has spent the past five years guiding Osceola’s (O-see-o-la) football team. The Indians went 12-36 under Carney. His best record with the Indians was a 5-5 mark in 2019. Osceola switched to eight-man in 2017. Carney takes over for Joseph Utterback, who went 1-9 in his lone season in charge of the Coyotes.
