Paris Graduate Briar Hancock Named Thayer Head Football Coach 

Paris graduate Briar Hancock has been named the new head football coach at Thayer High School. Hancock was an assistant coach this past year for the Bobcat football program and will replace long time Thayer football coach, and Missouri Football Coaches Association Hall of Famer, Billy Webber.

The Paris graduate, former KRES All-Star and Quincy University football standout explains how everything came together at Thayer.

Hancock was previously the head baseball coach at Linn where he led the Wildcats to the state championship game in his first season.
