Temperatures across the area are starting to feel more like fall. Brent Pesel, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill says we tend to see temperatures start dropping in our area towards the end of September.

Pesel says it’s unlikely we’ll see any warmer than normal temperatures for the rest of 2020.

Pesel also said we are looking at a slight La Nina this winter, and generally, that means it will be a cooler and wetter winter in the northern part of the country, while the southern part faces warmer, and drier weather.
