North Shelby Defense Stifles Atlanta To Capture District Title

The North Shelby Lady Raiders cruised to a 68-34 victory over the Atlanta Lady Hornets to capture the Class 1 District 11 Title. North Shelby jumped to an early 23-9 lead and never looked back leading wire to wire.

Lady Hornets head coach Jason White subbed out all five of his seniors, Makaila Teter, Kyley Magers, Aislynn Baker, Aymee Young, and Shelby Stull late in the game so they could receive a standing ovation. The five embraced in a group hug before exiting the game. White talked about what they have meant to the program.
