New Extension Guide Connects Consumers With Direct Meat Sales

University of Missouri Extension specialists have developed a five-step guide to help consumers navigate the process of buying meat direct from producers.  Benton County engagement specialist Amie Breshears is one of the authors of the guide, and says one of the first steps is identifying what meat you want, and how much you’re able to buy.  Key to that is knowing if you have enough room in your freezer.

She says it’s also important to know the cuts you’re about to buy.
