The executive director of the Missouri State High School Activities Association is also leading the national organization. As we reported last month, Dr. Kerwin Urhahn is the new president of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) for 2020-21. Urhahn began his one-year term July 2nd following the NFHS Summer Meeting, which was held virtually this year due to the pandemic. Urhahn explained how he became President.

Urhahn discussed his role as NFHS President.

The Missouri executive director said this year as president at the national level will help him deal with COVID-19 in the Show-Me State.

Urhahn joined MSHSAA as executive director in 2006 after serving as superintendent in Portageville.
