The Moberly Spartans seek their first 6-0 start in a decade when they visit the Marshall Owls Friday night. Moberly’s defense is down to 9.2 points allowed per game after a 35-0 shutout of Fulton on homecoming night last week. Coach Cody McDowell points the success to depth and team speed.
Marshall is 1-4. The Owls were 0-5 when they handed Moberly a 17-7 loss last year.
