The Moberly School Board spent about 90 minutes Monday discussing some new quarantine recommendations for schools from the Randolph County Health Department. Superintendent Dr. Tim Roling says the board is looking for additional information.

One board member called the recommendations a step in the right direction, with Board President Bobby Riley hoping to take a vote on the plan either during next Tuesday’s regular meeting or sooner. Roling says having students in school is important.

Since September 9th, there have been 56 positive cases of COVID-19 in the Moberly School District, with 511 students and 16 staff members having been quarantined.
