The Jays are coming off a 29-14 loss to Columbia Battle last week in conference play. Jefferson City coach Damon Wells expects a tough matchup from the Spartans.
Wells is in his third season at Jefferson City. The Jays went 6-5 in his first two seasons after having four straight losing seasons prior to his arrival. Wells says there’s one specific key for his team to have future success.
Moberly is trying to hang on to the top seed in Class 3-District 4. Blair Oaks trails by just over a point and plays Southern Boone Friday night in a matchup of state-ranked teams.
