Moberly Man Convicted For Sex Crimes Against Children

A Moberly man, accused by five girls between the ages of six and 13 of sexual contact and making them watch pornographic videos, has been sentenced to more than eight life sentences. 47-year-old Scotty Reynolds was convicted on 14 counts last week, including two counts of statutory rape, seven counts of statutory sodomy, and five counts of child molestation. He was given the maximum sentence allowed by law on the respective counts. A final sentencing hearing has been scheduled for August 8th in Linn County. The crimes took place in Randolph County in 2019, and others were alleged in the state of Florida prior to that.
