Moberly and Osage Seek Cleaner Performances in Week 2

Moberly travels to Osage for a Week 2 contest and both teams are looking to improve on self-inflicted mistakes. Moberly fell to Smith-Cotton 32-12 last week and had three turnovers, two snapping errors and a muffed punt. Coach Cody McDowell says the Spartans have to improve in every facet of the game.

Osage is coming off a 24-19 win over Fulton but had five turnovers in the game. Coach Shannon Jolley knows his team will need to be better.

Senior quarterback Brockton McLaughlin surpassed 1,600 passing yards and 1,200 rushing yards last season. Jolley mostly wants to see a mood change within his players.

You can hear Moberly at Osage on both KWIX AM & FM with pregame starting around 6:40. Austin Ward will have the call.
