Missouri Valley Conference to Delay Start of 2020 Fall Sports

The Missouri Valley Conference Presidents Council has announced the conference will delay the start of fall sports competition until September 18th. They also announced games for men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and volleyball will be conference only. Fall practices won’t begin until August 17th. This announcement doesn’t include football teams who compete in the Missouri Valley Football Conference or the Pioneer Football League. The Missouri Valley Football Conference is still waiting to make their own decision on how to proceed with the upcoming season. At this time schedules for winter and spring sports in the Missouri Valley Conference are unaffected.
