Macon Meets Brookfield

Macon visits Brookfield Friday night in a Clarence Cannon tilt. Macon is still looking for its first win of the year, coming in 0-5, and 0-3 in conference play. Coach Van Vanatta says his team has been hit hard by injuries this year.

Former starting quarterback Jace Terry comes back from an injury and moves to wide receiver, but Vanatta says Brookfield is tough on both sides of the ball.

Brookfield is 2-3, 1-2 in the Clarence Cannon, coming off a win last week over Palmyra, which Bulldogs Coach Cory Luke says is better than a year ago.

Luke says his defense needs to stop the run.

J.B. Connoley has the broadcast. Kickoff is at 7 on KRES and centralmoinfo.com.
