Lady Greyhounds Beat Crowder in Semis

The Moberly Lady Greyhounds advanced to the Region 16 Championship game with a 76-60 win over Crowder in the semifinals Thursday night at Fitzsimmons-John Arena. Following six ties and 11 lead changes, Moberly only led 36-31 at the half, before outscoring the Roughriders 23-8 in the third quarter.

J.B. Connoley with the call on KWIX and centralmoinfo.com. Keiori Lee scored all of her team-high 14 in the second half. Coach Hana Haden said her team seemed a step slow in the first half.

Crowder sophomore Fiona Wilson led all scorers with 29, as their season ends at 10-13. Bryce Dowell added 13 and Kori Tomlin had 12 in their final home game as Lady Hounds.

The Lady Hounds are now 18-4, and will play at Three Rivers for the title Saturday night. The Lady Raiders beat Jefferson 103-37 in the other semi.
