Invenergy Addresses Randolph County Commission
Representatives from Invenergy addressed the Randolph County Commission and a number of area residents Wednesday afternoon about the Grain Belt Express Transmission Line Project. Krista Mann, the Director of Renewable Development with Invenergy, outlined the purpose of the meeting.
Presiding Commissioner John Truesdell says the commission is gathering valuable information.
Invenergy has opened an office in Moberly.
Mann outlines a potential timeline for the project.
Overall, the project is 800 miles long, originating in Kansas, crossing eight counties in Missouri and going through a large portion of Illinois. At this point, Invenergy has not received approval to cross Illinois. The Randolph County Commission will join us for their monthly visit Thursday at 8:33am on KWIXLand This Morning.
