Highland Softball Still Number 1-Hallsville Is 2nd In Latest Rankings

The Highland Lady Cougars remain the top ranked Class 2 team in the latest Missouri High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association rankings released last week. Also in Class 2, Bowling Green is 3rd, Fayette is 7th, and defending state champion Marceline cracks the top 10, at number 10. Hallsville is ranked 2nd in Class 3 behind Fatima. Blair Oaks is 3rd, Fulton is 4th and Southern Boone is ranked 9th in Class 3. In Class 1 softball, Community is tied with Silex for 6th, Jamestown is 8th, and Cairo is ranked 10th.
