Helicopter Makes Hard Landing South of Moberly

No one was injured when a helicopter made a hard landing just south of Moberly early Wednesday evening. Sergeant Eric Brown with the Highway Patrol says it was an emergency services helicopter that was transporting one person, with four total people on board.

Several agencies responded to the scene.

Higbee and Southeastern Fire also responded to the scene, along with two Randolph County Ambulances and one from Columbia.
NTSB will be investigating the incident, and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department will be securing the scene. It appears that the helicopter sustained only minor damage.
