Gough-Route 3 Bridge Will Not Be Replaced

MoDOT released an update last week that the Route 3 project will not be under contract by this summer because of the process of acquiring the necessary right of way. Once the construction work actually begins, Gough said it will be extensive.

Route 3 in Randolph County was closed in 2021 when a significant slide caused unstable soil conditions in the area. The new road will be shifted to the west and lowered.
