Former Truman Assistant Hired To Lead Maryville Womens Basketball

A former Truman State assistant has been hired as the new women’s basketball coach at Maryville University. Brita Hand comes to the Saints after spending two seasons as the head coach at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. This past season, Hand led Briar Cliff to a 17-14 record and the program’s first appearance in the NAIA National Tournament in six seasons.
Hand was an assistant coach at Truman for Amy Eagan from 2015-18. Maryville is also in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
