Evansville and Ashland will Host the D2 Midwest Regional

A week after the NCAA announced that the Division II Winter Championships will proceed, predetermined men’s and women’s basketball regional sites were announced this morning (Fri). The Ford Center in Evansville will host the D2 Men’s Midwest Regional and Ashland University will host the Women’s Midwest Regional. The Midwest Region is comprised of teams in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, like Truman State, and the GLIAC. There will be eight, 6-team regionals.
In normal times, Division II host sites are determined after conference tournaments are held and awarded to the top team in the region.
