Education issues and PDMP, are expected to come to the forefront during the upcoming state legislative session. Representative Cheri Toalson-Reisch says funding will again be a point of emphasis for education.

Representative Holly Rehder from Sikeston who has championed the prescription drug monitoring legislation, hopes this is the year the measure is approved by the General Assembly. However, it will not have Toalson-Reisch’s support.

Lawmakers have already begun filing bills for the session, that begins on January 8th.
