District Foes Meet in Moberly and Centralia

Two Class 4 District 7 teams meet when Moberly visits Centralia Tuesday. The 7-8 Spartans rebounded from close losses to Fulton and Southern Boone with a 10-0 win over Palmyra Saturday. Coach Tony Vestal says pitching has kept them in a lot of games.

Vestal hopes to see more from the offense.

Meanwhile, Centralia coach Mike Rodgers thinks his team’s offense is on the rise.

The Panthers are 3-6 but hold a 1-0 win over South Shelby, which is the Cardinals’ only Clarence Cannon Conference loss thus far.
