David Stuckey Named North Shelby Football Coach-New Softball Coach Hired

North Shelby has named David Stuckey as its next head football coach. Stuckey was the defensive coordinator for Macon this past season. Previously, Stuckey was hired in January 2018 to start the Russellville football program from scratch before leaving prior to its first varsity season to take the defensive coordinator job at Cameron. He led Mountain Grove to a district championship in 2015 and guided Santa Fe to a couple state semifinal appearances in 2003 and 2004. Stuckey has also had head coaching stints at Grandview and Pierce City. He takes over a North Shelby team that went 8-3 and fell to eventual state champion Southwest Livingston in the state quarterfinals. The team will return seven of eight starters on both sides of the ball. Previous head coach Seth Bass is departing to start the Northland Christian eight-man program from scratch.

North Shelby also announced it has hired Donny Williams as its next softball coach.
