Centralia Blanks Macon on Senior Night

The Centralia Panthers scored 20 first quarter points on their way to a 42-nothing Senior Night win over Macon.

Jesse Caballero had eight carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Braedyn Decker had ten carries for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Centralia Coach Tyler Forsee said his team cleaned up a number of mistakes that happened in last week’s loss to South Shelby.

Forsee said Macon’s kids had a lot of fight.

Macon is 0-9, and as the seventh seed in Class 3, District 4, will play at second-seeded Moberly Friday night.

Centralia finishes the regular season 8-1, and went 6-1 in the Clarence Cannon Conference. They’ll be the third seed and host Hallsville Friday.
