Census Of Ag Prepwork Continues At USDA

Farmers across the U.S. will have a form to fill out this fall when USDA conducts its Census of Agriculture.  The study compiled every five years is a comprehensive look at ag across the country.  State Statistician Bob Garino says for farmers to be included in the Census, they need to update their contact information with their local USDA Service Center.

Garino says farmers will be encouraged to complete the Census online.  He adds that because the Census is a comprehensive look at U.S. agriculture, the National Ag Statistics Service approaches its compilation differently.

Additional details, including key dates for the upcoming 2022 Census of Agriculture are available on USDA’s website.
