Bulldogs Split With the Screaming Eagles

Katie Jaseckas scored a season-high 21 points, Sloane Totta and Hannah Belanger both had 18 and Katey Klucking had her first double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs improve to 8-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and 12-4 overall. USI falls to 6-3 in the GLVC and 10-5.

Emmanuel Little scored 26 points to lead the Screaming Eagles to a 79-76 victory over Truman. The Bulldogs never led, but wouldn’t go away….

Brodric Thomas paced Truman with 20 points. The Bulldogs had one last chance to tie with eight seconds left but didn’t get off a shot. Coach Jeff Horner was disappointed his team was 8-26 from the arc….

Horner’s Bulldogs had their five-game winning streak halted. The ‘Dogs drop to 11-6 and 7-2 in the GLVC. Southern Indiana improves to 13-4 and 5-4 in the conference.
