Buggy Driver Hurt in Lewis County Accident

The driver of a horse drawn buggy was seriously hurt when it was hit in the rear by a minivan whose driver failed to yield on Route F, five miles north of Canton, around 5:10 Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol says 57-year-old John Burkholder of Canton was taken by a private vehicle to Quincy. The other driver, 69-year-old Jodel Dye of Canton, was not hurt.
