Brashear and North Shelby Win Big in District Quarterfinals

The Brashear Lady Tigers and North Shelby Lady Raiders both led wire-to-wire to advance to the district semifinal.

Brashear opened the night with a 47-27 win over the Atlanta Lady Hornets. The Lady Tigers opened up a double-digit lead towards the end of the half.

Brashear advances to face the top-seed Cairo Lady Bearcats on Wednesday. Atlanta graduates three seniors and finishes the season at 8-17.

North Shelby defeated Madison 70-11. Sophomore Harper Copenhaver had 16 of her 18 points in the first half.

The Lady Raiders take on Marion County in the district semifinal. Madison finishes the season at 3-26.
