Boonville School District Hires New Superintendent

The Boonville School District has hired current Blair Oaks Interim Superintendent Mark Harvey as its new superintendent. He will replace Dr. Sarah Marriott, who is departing the district to take an assistant superintendent position with Liberty Public Schools. Marriott discusses the hiring of Harvey.

Harvey’s career in education spans 30 years, including 21 as an elementary principal and superintendent for the Pike County R-3 School District in Clarksville. He’s since served as an interim superintendent in the Oak Grove and Blair Oaks school districts. Marriott says the transition process will begin as soon as possible.
