Beuth Park Lake in Moberly to be Stocked With Trout

Moberly will soon have a trout lake to call it’s own. Plans are in place to stock Beuth Park Lake with trout at the beginning of November. Randolph County conservation agent Zach Barnes explains how this trout fishing opportunity came to be.

The addition of trout will add to the amount of fishing options at the lake. Barnes explains what the rules will be regarding trout fishing in Moberly for the coming year.

With Missouri’s four trout parks being located in the southern part of the state, the addition of a trout lake in Moberly provides a local option for anglers.

Plans call for approximately 1,000 rainbow trout to be placed in Beuth Park Lake in early November.
