Belanger A Two-Time All-American

Truman State senior Hannah Belanger was recognized as an All-American by both the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and the Division II College Commissioner’s Association. Belanger becomes the first Bulldog player to earn the All-America award from the WBCA twice. She was previously named an All-American following the 2021 season and joined Carol Jarrard (1982), Amy Eagan (1999) and Kelli Kreuser (2000) as Bulldog All-Americans on the basketball court.

Belanger said she worked hard to become more than a three-point shooter…..

Some of Belanger’s highlights from the season include setting school record for three-pointers made, tying the single-season Truman State points record, leading the Great Lakes Valley Conference in scoring, named GLVC Player of the Year, picking up her third straight unanimous first team all-GLVC honor and being named an Academic All-American.
