A couple former KRES All-Stars were among the Truman State football players honored by Great Lakes Valley Conference coaches. Reed McBroom of Brookfield was a first team selection. The junior linebacker leads the team in tackles with 78 and is second in tackles for loss with 10.5. Jacob Lewis of Centralia was a second team choice. He is one of two seniors on the Bulldog offensive line that only allowed six sacks all season.

Truman had three unanimous first-team selections in running back Jordan Salima, defensive end Sam Reeves and punter Taylor Cornish. Others named First Team all-GLVC were offensive lineman Jacob Van Doren, defensive tackle Jake Floyd of Columbia, and defensive back Jordan Siegel.

Other second-team selections were offensive lineman Dane Eggert, quarterback Jaden Barr, running back Cody Schrader, fullback Jacob Morris, defensive back Travis Myerson and place kicker Josh Scheiderer.

Tight end Jake Ellis was an honorable mention.

The 23rd ranked Bulldogs will play in the inaugural America’s Crossroads Bowl in Hobart, Indiana on December 7th. We will have the broadcast on KRES.
