Truman Splits Close Games At Jewell

Truman and William Jewell split a doubleheader in close games in Liberty today (Sat.).

Ellie Weltha led all scorers with 16 and Bulman had 14. Maddie Niemeier had her second double-double with 12 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. It was the first road win of the season for the Bulldogs, who improve to 5-13 and 2-10 in the GLVC. The Cardinals drop to 5-14 and 3-10 in the conference.

A last second three-pointer came up short and the Truman men lost to Jewell 74-72. Isaac Patterson got a layup with five seconds left for the game-winner. He finished with 25 points.
