Tractors and Gas-Powered Engines Highlight 60th Annual Missouri River Valley Steam Show

The 60th annual Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Show begins tomorrow at the Brady Farmstead Showgrounds in Boonville. Tractor Cruise Co-chair Marty James says that starts Friday morning at 9.

About 40 tractors are expected to participate in this year’s cruise. Another aspect of the show is the variety of old-fashioned gas-powered engines. Board Member Bob Painter says these engines had a variety of uses.

Painter adds many of the engines at the show will be operational.

More than 200 engines will be on-site during the four-day event. A wristband good for all four days of the show costs ten dollars.
