A piece of legislation recently passed by the Missouri House of Representatives could bring the futuristic Hyperloop to Missouri. The Hyperloop is a system of tubes which could transport people and goods at high speeds. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville says this legislation gives Missouri an eye towards the future.

St. Louis, Kansas City, and the Columbia area have all been discussed as potential locations for the test track. Toalson Reisch says the test track will almost certainly be located along Interstate-70.

The Hyperloop bill now moves to the Missouri Senate where it is expected to receive wide spread support. Senator Caleb Rowden of Columbia is expected to carry the bill.
