Mexico superintendent Dr. Zachary Templeton participated in his final Board of Education meeting last week, as he prepares to step down from his post at the end of this month. Templeton spent five years as assistant superintendent before serving as superintendent the last three years. During that time, Templeton has had a hand in some major construction projects.

Dr. Templeton also pointed to some changes in the classroom among his highlights.

As Dr. Zachary Templeton retires from the job, Dr. Tammy Lupardus will take the reigns. She comes to the Mexico School District from Charleston.
