A rural bridge in Linn County will be the first to be replaced through the FARM (Fixing Access to Rural Missouri) Bridge Program. The bridge is located on Route B over Smokey Branch, just west of Missouri Route 139 and north of Meadville. The road will close on October 25th for construction and will remain closed until the end of February. The FARM Bridge program is designed to replace deficient bridges on low-volume routes that are weight restricted, in poor condition, on timber pile, or are one-lane but carry two-way traffic.
