Burton Not Done With Golf Despite Spring Season Cancellation

While MSHSAA’s cancellation of the spring high school sports seasons is a disappointment for Trey Burton, the Westran senior still has competitive golf in his future. The two-time All-State golfer signed earlier this year to take his swing to Columbia College….

In leading Westran to back-to-back state runner-up trophies, Burton tied for 4th in 2018 and placed 6th in 2019.

Burton was voted a KRES All-Star for his play on the basketball court. The Hornets went from a 7-19 season in 2018 to 18-7 this past season. Burton discussed the improvement on his interview last week….
