The Central Methodist, Missouri Valley, and Columbia College men’s and women’s soccer teams continue to feature in the NAIA’s Weekly Coaches’ polls. This week’s men’s poll still features Central Methodist as the top-ranked team in the nation with a 16-0 record. For the first time this season the Eagles are the unanimous number one team in the nation as they garnered all 18 first-place votes. Columbia College slipped one spot in this week’s poll to number seven, while Missouri Valley moved up two spots to number eight.
Central Methodist also maintains the top spot among area schools in the women’s poll this week as they stay in fifth in the poll. Columbia College also remains 13th for another week. Meanwhile, Missouri Valley dropped two spots to number 20 after going 1-1 over the weekend.
Conference tournaments for NAIA member schools begin this week. The NAIA National Tournament starts November 18th.
