Two People Killed In A Saline County Accident On Highway 65

Two people were killed in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 65 in Saline County at 4:35 Tuesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports 29-year old Dylan Giffen of Malta Bend and 41-year old Jaime Kelly of Waverly died in the accident at Arbor Road. A tractor driven by 28-year old Anthony Bryson of Waverly was attemping to make a left turn. A motorcycle driven by Giffen attempted to pass and struck the towed unit. The cycle crossed the centerline into the northbound lanes and hit a car driven by 47-year old Barbara Jarvis of Carrollton head-on. Kelly was a passenger on the motorcycle. Both were pronounced dead a the scene.
