Two People Injured in Randolph County Accident Involving Train

Two people were injured when a pickup truck was struck by a train east of Huntsville shortly after 12 pm today. The accident occurred on Private Road 1232, four miles east of Huntsville. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a 1988 GMC Sierra failed to yield to an oncoming train at a railroad crossing with no signal. The train struck the pickup truck injuring both the driver, 45-year old Kyle Jordan, and the passenger, 18-year old Justin Madison of Holliday. Both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Moberly for treatment.
