Two Hurt in Clark County Accident

Two Alexandria residents suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 136, three miles west of Alexandria, around 10:50 Friday morning. The State Highway Patrol says 83-year old Lester Shaffer of Alexandria made a left turn and hit an SUV driven by 39-year-old Adam Tucker/ Shaffer was not hurt, but a passenger, 59-year-old Loreta Schafer was. She was taken to Quincy. Tucker was taken to Fort Madison, Iowa.
