Truman State will wrap up non-conference play versus Wayne State, in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday. The 3-0 Bulldogs have gone 17-1 in games outside of conference since the start of 2019. Coach Gregg Nesbitt says this slate of non-conference games is making them tougher…..

Truman is coming off a 21-7 victory over Saginaw Valley State. The Bulldogs are 23-6 in games with Nolan Hair at quarterback……

Wayne State is 1-2, with both losses to nationally ranked teams in Slippery Rock and Indianapolis. The Warriors only notched one win last year. Nesbitt says they got instant credibility when Tyrone Wheatley was hired as head coach…..

This will be the fourth meeting between the two regional schools in the past nine seasons with Truman winning the last two in 2021 and 2019. The Bulldogs received the 28th most votes in the AFCA Division II Top 25 Poll this week. The game will kickoff at 12noon central time on Saturday. We will not have a broadcast.
