Truman Postseason Push Starts With Maryville At The GLVC Tourney

Truman State goes for its 20th win in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women’s Postseason Tournament tonight (Fri) against Maryville. More importantly, the Bulldogs will try to add wins to their NCAA Tournament resume. Eight teams qualify from each region and this week Truman sat 10th in the Midwest Region rankings.

Maryville First Team All-GLVC guard Antoinette Mussorici (moo-so-REE-see) scored 33 in the loss. Dean also spoke about changing the teams mindset going into the postseason…

The Bulldogs are 19-9 overall and the Saints are 15-12. The GLVC Tournament is being played on the campus of Lindenwood University in St. Charles. You can hear tonight’s (Fri) game on Superstation KRES and starting with the Truman Tipoff at 8:00. Brad and Hank will have the call.
