Truman Not in the NCAA Playoffs

Truman State did not receive an invitation to the NCAA football playoffs. In Super Region 3, GLVC champion Indianapolis will play at MIAA champion and 3-seed Pittsburg State. Northwest Missouri State jumped from 10th in last week’s regional rankings to a matchup at 4th seed Ouachita Baptist in the first round. Davenport, which beat Truman by a point in the opener, will play at 2nd-ranked Ferris State. Top-ranked Grand Valley State gets a bye.
As the top GLVC team not in the playoffs, 8-2 Truman is in line to receive an invite to the America’s Crossroads Bowl.
