Truman Hosts Quincy To Get Back Into GLVC Play

The Truman basketball teams get back into Great Lakes Valley Conference play by hosting the Quincy Hawks Thursday night. It’s the first of four straight doubleheaders the Bulldogs will host at Pershing Arena.

The Truman men are looking for their fourth straight win to get back to the .500 mark. The Hawks are tied for the second-best record in the GLVC at 3-1 and come in 7-5 overall. Steve Hawkins is in his second stint leading the Quincy program, after several years at Division 1 Western Michigan. Bulldog coach Jeff Horner watched his team play at the season-opening crossover challenge….

The Truman women lost their first conference game of the season on December 10th at SBU. The Bulldogs are 4-1 in the GLVC and 8-5 overall. The Quincy women are 5-7 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
